Rss Feeds Helpful Tips!

By Larry L. Miller

RSS is fast becoming the communication media that many online marketers are switching to. Many experts agree that RSS Feeds will one day replace email marketing and newsletters. Many marketers will be left behind when this switch occurs. If you havent made the switch your competition will pass you in page rank like a streak of lightning when this whole process has made the switch.

The term RSS is the acronym for Really Simple Syndication. This is a process which can place a feed on your web site that can read an RSS feed from your directory. Information distribution has become a rather simple process with the advent of RSS feeds in todays marketing arena.

An RSS feed can put your headline to other multiple web sites for countless people to see. Statistics show that more potential clients can be reached using RSS feed, and the more people who see your information the better chance you can market something to these individuals.

RSS is an XML based application which is quite similar to HTML which it the most common web site creator application. Every site that I put an RSS feed on has definitely boosted sales on that site.

Google recently purchased the program called Feed Burner. This is a simple format that you can create a feed and place anywhere you want an RSS Feed. You feed will include the title or a headline, a brief description of the content of your site and the link where you can read the post. There are numerous web channel editors that you can utilize for reading an RSS Feed. Some programs just require you to write news and articles down on a notepad and when placed on the editor, it will show up with the necessary formatting ready for upload.

Once you have created your file, save the file as an XML, RSS or an RDF file. Use your favorite FTP client to upload to your web server. I personally like the free FileZilla ftp program. This program is simple to use and once you use the program a few times you will wonder how you ever got along without this remarkable tool. Once you have completed the process above, now the file is readable by most RSS news aggregators.

Now that youve created a file, saved the file and made sure it works, now youre ready to share your feed with the general public. The main function of an RSS feed is to broadcast your feed to all RSS enabled sites. By placing your feed in a directory you will start seeing some tremendous results from your feeds. Some directories require a fee for using their directory. Many are free, so check and see which will work best for you.

Place you RSS feed icon on everything you do online. You objective here of course is to get your information to as many users as possible. Your feed will change and update automatically every time you change the main file.

With RSS, you know that the feed changes automatically every time you change the main file. By adding new articles to your system on a regular basis you will quickly get the attention of your readers and the search engines with new content.

Check out the latest trend of owning your own article directory as part of your regular web site by utilizing the concept of placing your directory as a third level domain. One huge advantage of this concept is that other authors will submit to your directory and you become the publisher. You will quickly generate countless links and back links with this method of linking.

Few individuals can fathom the benefits of this type of feed distribution. If you have questions regarding this concept, seek the services of the professionals.

The eBiz Solutions Team is stand by to assist you in your RSS feed questions. Call today for your free 30 minute No Obligation consultation.

Cadillac unveils Obama’s ‘Beast’, the 2009 Presidential State Car

Saturday, January 17, 2009

The US Secret Service has released the first photos Wednesday of the new presidential limousine that will transport Barack Obama down Pennsylvania Avenue next Tuesday as part of the 56th Presidential inaugural parade after he is sworn in at the Capitol. The First Limo – the 2009 Cadillac Presidential Limousine – will replace President Bush’s Cadillac DTS Presidential Limousine that rolled out in 2004.

Nicknamed “The Beast”, the hulking machine is a new model year 2009, modified limousine. According to General Motors, the new “2009 Cadillac Presidential Limousine” is the first not to carry a specific model name. The Obama Mobile was introduced on January 14 with noticeably different styling borrowed from the Cadillac Escalade and STS, while the suspension is most likely related to the Chevrolet Kodiak medium-duty truck.

HAVE YOUR SAY
Do you like the car? What would you like to see Obama driven around in?

Mr. David Caldwell of General Motors has revealed that the sleek black car would include a hand-crafted interior and “state of the art electronics.” The car’s high-tech security features include five-inch-thick (12.7-centimeter-thick) bombproof glass, tough-as-nails tires, and a sealed interior that’s invulnerable to chemical attack. The armoured limousine has been heavily modified to withstand potential attacks by weapons or bombs. The San Francisco Chronicle puts it in a proper perspective noting, “a half-inch of transparent armor is enough to stop a .44 Magnum round at point-blank range; at a thickness of 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inches, the same material can withstand higher-velocity bullets fired from military assault rifles.”

According to spy photographer, Brenda Priddy, and General Motors, the limousine, which has the intricate, dual-textured grille, is also equipped with standard Goodyear Regional RHS truck tires in a 285/70R19.5 size, on 19.5-inch wheels. The rims have a run-flat device (manufactured by Hutchinson Industries). Xenon headlights from the Escalade are installed in the front, while the rear has some STS part. The doors are at least 20 centimeters (8 inches) thick. It carries the US flag on the front fenders and an embroidered Seal of the President of the United States is affixed to several panels in the back.

According to the US Secret Service, the vehicle would be a “valuable asset” in providing the President with the highest level of protection. “Although many of the vehicle’s security enhancements cannot be discussed, it is safe to say that this car’s security and coded communications systems make it the most technologically advanced protection vehicle in the world,” Nicholas Trotta, Assistant Director for the Office of Protective Operations said in a statement. The new limousine is the responsibility of White House Transportation Agency.

One of the specifications is that we don’t talk about the specifications.

The Presidential State Car is the official state car used by the President of the United States. It is informally known as “Cadillac One”. The current Presidential State Car is a 2005 hand-crafted, armored, and stretched DTS (DeVille Touring Sedan) built on a GM four-wheel drive platform. It was first used on the second inauguration parade of George W. Bush in 2005. But the version to be used by President Obama uses a GMC Topkick chassis, while maintaining the Cadillac exterior.

The President of the United States travels in one of two armoured Cadillac limousines based upon the normal sedan, the Cadillac DTS, with heavy customisation. Lincoln cars have also been used in the past, most notably by President John F Kennedy. The current limousines were custom-built by O’Gara, Hess and Eisenhart, founded in Fairfield, Ohio in 1942. It specializes in armouring limousines for presidents and heads of state.

President William McKinley was the first US president to ride in an automobile. However, it was President Theodore Roosevelt who rode on the first government-owned car, a white Stanley Steamer. Roosevelt’s successor, William Howard Taft, was the first president to use a presidential state car that was permanently stored in the White House garage.

Meanwhile, Obama’s 2005 Chrysler 300C Hemi was auctioned on eBay with a starting bid of $100,000 and a buy-it-now price of $1,000,000. It has less than 21,000 miles on it and is in like-new condition. He leased the car in 2004 and traded it for a Ford Escape Hybrid in 2007. The car was sold to Tim O’Boyle.

NASA van rolls off California mountain

Wednesday, December 8, 2004

LOS ANGELES — A commuter van (Van Pool No. 36) from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) plunged 200 feet into a ravine in the Angeles National Forest this morning. The van was carrying ten people: six JPL employees, two NASA employees, and two private contractors. They are identified as:

 • Javier Bautista: Regular Substitute Driver
 • Cheryl Lynn Allworth: Executive Secretary in JPL’s Space Experiments Systems Section
 • Dorothy M. Forks: JPL Human Resources
 • Peter Robles
 • Helga Maria Wurm
 • Jane F. Galloway: JPL Business Manager
 • Kerri Lynn Agey: Contractor for JPL Security Services
 • Christopher Butts
 • Jim Kitahara
 • David Myers

Three of the passengers — Forks, Galloway, and Agey — lost their lives; the remaining seven sustained various levels of injury, including one passenger suffering critical injury, according to authorities. All victims were airlifted to local area hospitals.

According to witnesses who reported the crash, the van simply drove off the side of Angeles Forest Highway. Despite the presence of fog during the accident, the California Highway Patrol believes that this was not a factor. The CHP has said that the investigation into the crash may take two to three days before the cause is known.

JPL spokesperson D.C. Agle confirmed that the van was from the facility. Initially, JPL refrained from commenting, but JPL security was spotted at the site shortly after the incident occurred.

The Angeles Forest Highway is a two-lane mountain road considered a commuter route for many residents of the Antelope Valley including Palmdale and Lancaster residents. It is an alternative to get to Interstate 210, rather than taking the heavily traveled Antelope Valley Freeway (California State Route 14).

First arrests made in Singapore for possession of New Psychoactive Substances

Sunday, May 4, 2014

The Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) of Singapore announced yesterday the first arrests made following the listing of New Psychoactive Substances (NPS) as Class A controlled drugs on Thursday, under the First Schedule of the Misuse of Drugs Act. The suspects, two unnamed male Singaporeans, aged 22 and 23, were reportedly arrested at a shopping center in Tampines on Friday evening for possession of synthetic cannabis, also known as “K2”. Authorities recovered 71.7 g of the drug from the suspects.

Under suspicion from the CNB that the 22-year-old suspect was engaged in trafficking of the illegal substance, a further search of his home yielded an additional 22.3 g of synthetic cannabis, raising the total amount of the drug confiscated following the arrests to 94 g.

Synthetic cannabis, listed as an NPS, and known as a “legal high”, is one of a group of designer drugs created to stimulate the effects of controlled drugs including cocaine, Ecstasy, methamphetamine, and heroin. The CNB has linked NPS abuse to symptoms including severe intoxication, hallucinations, paranoia, seizures, cadiovascular problems, renal failure, and death.

Typically having chemical structure very similar but slightly different from controlled drugs, these substances have been illegalized, and their possession, consumption, trafficking, and manufacturing now carry penalties comparable to that of controlled drugs. Last year, under the Fifth Schedule of the Misuse of Drugs Act, designed to study NPSs before their illegalization, they could be confiscated by authorities, but no further penalty would be levied.

The changes to NPS status follow increases over the past year in NPS trafficking and consumption, according to the CNB. Commenting on the move, a spokesperson for the CNB revealed the organization has reported at least thirty NPS seizures in the period from last May through this February. “Thus far,” the spokesperson noted, “synthetic cannabinoids and synthetic cathinones are the two more commonly detected NPS”.

Termed an “alarming new drug problem” by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, its World Drug Report 2013 indicated an increase to 348 NPSs in 2013, up from 251 in 2012. Capitalizing on their legality — which no longer holds in Singapore — NPSs have been known as “legal highs”, “research chemicals”, “plant food”, and “bath salts”.

Commenting on the illegalization of NPSs, Ng Ser Song, the director of the CNB, had this to say. “The drug situation is challenging and the number of repeat drug abusers and young drug abusers remains a concern. With the abuse and trafficking of NPS on the rise, listing these new psychoactive substances as Class A controlled drugs signals our unequivocal stance that these substances are illegal and no different from other controlled drugs.”

Under the recently enacted First Schedule of the Misuse of Drugs Act, if found guilty of drug trafficking, the 22-year-old suspect may be penalized with a minimum of five years in prison and five strokes of the cane. The act also allows the possession or consumption of New Psychoactive Substances to be punished with a maximum of 10 years imprisonment and/or a $20,000 fine.

Brazilian Minister of Culture says that he smoked marijuana until the age of 50

Wednesday, June 1, 2005

The Brazilian Minister of Culture Gilberto Gil, aged 62, said that he smoked marijuana until he was 50. In addition he defended the decriminalization of drug’s consumption.

Gil took part in a press conference with journalists of Folha de São Paulo on Monday (May, 30). During the interview the Brazilian minister asked:”Why should [drugs] be forbidden?” He added that the drugs problem should be handled as a matter of public health. Gil had already defended the idea of decriminalization during a interview with Brazilian magazine Veja.

Gilberto Gil, and the drummer Chiquinho Azevedo, were arrested in 1976 in Florianópolis because they were carrying marijuana.

There is no consensus on decriminalization among Brazilians. Some people, like this Brazilian Anti-drugs website, believe that psychoactive drugs are dangerous and can lead to health problems, including chemical dependence.

Teflon Coating: Pros Of Teflon Coating On Cars}

Teflon Coating: Pros of Teflon Coating on Cars

by

Neel patel

Teflon coating is also known as Antirust Coating. Teflon coating is done on the body and under-body of the car. It is a chemical form of the Synthetic fluoropolymer. It is non-sticky as well as reduces the friction on the material and provides clear and strong protective finish to cars paint.

Teflon coating increases the ability of the surface to which it is applied. It helps to prevent the surface against the corrosion as well as wear and tear problem in the High & Low temperature. It keeps dirt away from the surface and helps to repel the water. Teflon coating is also done on a clear and sunny day like Ceramic coating.

Car detailing process should be done at the idle location like your Parking or a place where you can park your car under the roof and protect the car from direct sunlight. UV rays are harmful to the cars paint. Rinse off dirt from the cars surface with the help of water hose. You can use car wash shampoo and microfiber pads for scrubbing to get better and cleaned surface. Wash the car completely including the wheels and rims. Once the car washing is done dry the car with the help of Microfiber cleaning cloth so that water drops cant leave on the surface.

Now the surface is dried completely and you can finally start the coating process. The very first step is that shake the spray properly

Shake it properly to mix the Teflon solution before using. And after that spray it onto the paint with steady back and forth streams. Continue spraying until the entire painted surface of the car is coated with a thin film which needs to dry without disturbance. Thats why experts suggest not to work on a rainy day or under a tree.

The coating dry time will depend on the brand of Teflon coating you are using. But a few hours should do. Use a clean rag to rub off the Teflon wax. This wiping just takes off the excess. The Teflon coating that has adhered to the paint job will not come off with a light rub.

Teflon Process on vehicle

-Car Surface is Washed and after that Cleaned Completely.

-Then the full body is wiped and dried completely with the help of microfiber cleaning cloth.

-Once the full surface of the car is washed and the cleaned car is ready for Teflon coating which will be applied in lubricate form on the entire body.

-leave the surface for drying. It will take 15-20 minutes to dry. After that, the polishing will be done on the surface of the car.

-polishing can be applied in two ways: machine and hand. Experts use Rupes Bigfoot car polishing machine for the best result.

-Polishing process will take around 30 minutes for buffing. If it is done correctly it will remove scratches too.

Benefits of Teflon Coating

Car Paint will begin to shine after Teflon and even minor scratches will also be removed. Effect of the Teflon coating last shorter, around 2 months and after that it will continue to come down.

It provides a layer to prevent minor scratches and it acts as Paint Protection.

It adds a Glossy look to a car so apply Teflon coating periodically for best results.

It improves the paint life of your car if done regularly.
