Web Construction In Costa Rica: How Individuals Spoil The Business

Submitted by: Rashid Herrera

The web developing industry is being harmed because there are individuals who charge low prices and provide mediocre quality. In order to not leave everyone else without a job, they should charge increased prices.

Many individuals who work as web designers appear to be damaging the business it two areas, which are price ranges and quality of what is being made available.

Some of these workers have discovered that building a site costs lots of cash. For this reason, these people choose to do it on their own. They charge half the price, and their employers never find out. By doing this, they earn some extra money. Many of these workers were fired last year after a crisis had begun. These individuals grew to become the competition.

Once these workers reach the road, these people offer their services at an especially highly affordable price, and these individuals keep lowering it. In fact, before they used to charge around $1000. Nevertheless, now there are some that even charge $50. Being such a highly affordable price, many times they don’t do the job very well. Of course, this doesn’t always occur, but most low-budget web sites have many of the following factors:

A not very good style. The same theme in every page. Code with many faults. Little or no on-site location.

There are, of course, exceptions. Some people charge highly affordable fees and perform a first-rate job. However, most of these people are destroying the web constructing industry, due to the fact that most of the individuals who do these things give the client a website that is not very good for competition, which gives them few positive factors, unless these individuals are in a sector that is not very competitive.

In Costa Rica there is a good benefit, which is the fact that there are many sectors that can reach the top 5 with no trouble because of the little competition. Examples of these are phone sales, personal computer sales, laptop sales, motor vehicle sales, etcetera. This advantage has a setback, nonetheless. Because of this, many designers think that these individuals are very good. This is due to the fact that even though their websites are not very good in quality, they are well placed.

So why do they damage the web constructing business?

Other than charging very highly affordable fees, these people pretend to provide the same quality as other developers and developers that make competitive sites. These people find customers in competitive sectors and since the charge little, these people win the customer over, but the result of their services doesn’t generate income for the client, which makes it so that the consumer loses faith and decides not to invest in web designing any more.

The important thing is that if you’re going to charge low fees, you should adjust your price in case you need qualified help. There is a phrase that says “no pain no gain.” Well, in search engine optimization, that is totally appropriate. To have a well positioned web-site, you must invest a lot. So, in order to not leave everyone else on the streets, you must not charge such reduced fees. If you’re wondering why, this is the reason: Someday, your corporation is going to grow, and you will have a lot of extra expenses. However, all the reduced fees that you and many other men and women have been charging is going to have taken its toll. You will learn that all the other organizations have closed up, and now there are only freelancers. This will make it impossible to open your own enterprise.
